Mountain Biking Project: Trail Riding
Camp Dates: July 5–July 8 (Full)
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Experience Level: Intermediate (comfortable riding a bike on multiple types of terrain)
If your child loves to ride a bike around town and shows a passion for bike riding, then this is the perfect place for them to take their enthusiasm to the next level. Campers will experience the thrill and excitement of riding a mountain bike on a single track mountain bike trail! This camp is all about fueling each camper's love for biking, being outdoors, developing a sense of community, and becoming a smart and safe rider.
New Jersey has amazing bike trails, and throughout this camp we will explore a variety of different types of terrain and riding styles. We will visit some of the best, local, single-track mountain bike trails, crank out big miles, and have an amazing time--all while learning a thing or two along the way!
This camp is designed for those who are looking for a little more adventure and a lot more fun! Campers should be ready to challenge their ability. We focus on a mastery of skills, safety measures, and general biking knowledge while providing the tools for each rider to participate safely on a variety of biking terrains. We will introduce every rider to safe riding practices, environmental stewardship, teamwork, and personal skill development.
